Join our fast-paced team as a Picker/Packer in the heart of New York City, New York! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision. This role is fundamental to our **logistics** operations, ensuring that our customers receive their items correctly and on time. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse efficiently, identifying products based on order sheets, carefully packing items to prevent damage during transit, and preparing them for shipment. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is also a key responsibility. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all employees to follow **Safety** guidelines diligently, including the correct use of **PPE**. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity during shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and dispatch.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all **Safety** protocols and wear required **PPE**.
- Meet productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Follow instructions and contribute to team goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in picking/packing or warehouse environment is an asset.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Must be comfortable with **Lifting** up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of warehouse **logistics**.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to follow all **Safety** guidelines and wear appropriate **PPE**.
