Responsibilities:
- Receive picking lists or order information.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Scan items to verify accuracy and update inventory.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Transport picked items to designated packing stations.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Follow all **safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as directed.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Proficiency in using scanning equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse **logistics** and inventory management.
- Willingness to wear required **PPE**.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace **safety**.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
