We are hiring a proactive Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Portland, Oregon. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving a wide range of warehouse activities to ensure the efficient flow of goods. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse management, from receiving and stocking to picking and packing orders. Responsibilities:
- Perform various warehouse tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, and packing.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers (training provided).
- Maintain accurate inventory records using scanning technology.
- Ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety procedures and company policies.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Handle materials and products with care to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and technology.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
- Reliable attendance and a proactive attitude.
