We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Maintaining a high standard of Safety and utilizing the correct PPE are paramount in this position. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the fast-paced world of Logistics .
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and verify against manifests.
- Sort and place received items into designated storage areas.
- Pick products based on customer orders and prepare for shipment.
- Pack orders securely, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Load finished goods onto trucks for delivery.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and cycle counts.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual equipment as needed.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all Safety procedures and company policies.
- Wear all required PPE , including safety footwear, gloves, and eye protection.
- Perform tasks involving consistent Lifting , carrying, and maneuvering of packages.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
