We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Distribution Center Associate for our facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our distribution network, contributing to the efficient handling of goods from receipt to dispatch. Your primary duties will involve picking, packing, and staging orders, managing inventory, and ensuring the facility is kept in optimal condition. A strong emphasis is placed on adhering to Safety regulations and utilizing all necessary PPE . This position is perfect for individuals passionate about Logistics and eager to contribute to a team focused on productivity and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Pick items from inventory locations using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Pack orders to meet quality and shipping standards.
- Assist in receiving and verifying merchandise against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels in designated warehouse areas.
- Operate powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment (training provided).
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the distribution center.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety guidelines and protocols.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE , ensuring personal and co-worker protection.
- Perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including significant Lifting and movement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment is beneficial.
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to Safety best practices.
