Become a vital part of our operations as a Warehouse Worker in Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to contribute to our daily warehouse activities. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. This role is essential for the efficient flow of goods and the overall success of our logistics network. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic environment. A strong focus on Safety, proper use of PPE, and adherence to Lifting guidelines is crucial for success in this position. We are committed to providing a safe and productive workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy.
- Stock shelves and designated areas with incoming goods.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, following all training guidelines.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform regular tasks involving physical Lifting of materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of logistics operations.
- Report any damages, discrepancies, or Safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or manual labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory.
- Commitment to Safety and willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics is beneficial.
- Good communication skills.
