We have an immediate opening for a dedicated Receiving Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is a critical component of our logistics operations, responsible for the initial processing of all incoming materials. As a Receiving Clerk, your duties will include unloading delivery vehicles, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damages, and accurately entering received data into our inventory management system. The ability to work diligently and maintain accuracy is essential for efficient logistics. This position requires attention to detail and the physical capacity for some Lifting. We maintain a strong focus on Safety, and adherence to all Safety guidelines and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. You will contribute to the seamless flow of goods into our facility. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and unloading inbound shipments.
- Verifying quantities and types of goods received against documentation.
- Conducting visual inspections for damage or defects.
- Accurately inputting receiving data into the warehouse management system.
- Notifying relevant personnel of any discrepancies or issues with shipments.
- Organizing and staging received goods for distribution or storage.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly receiving area.
- Following all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wearing and utilizing all required PPE correctly.
