We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics operations in Atlanta, Georgia. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is vital for efficient warehouse management and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory counts, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing solutions to maintain optimal stock levels. This includes using inventory management software and scanning equipment to track stock movement, identify potential issues, and reconcile records. You will also play a key role in developing and improving inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce errors within our logistics network. Collaboration with other departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mind, excellent problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of warehouse inventory principles. Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is highly desirable. We provide all necessary PPE and emphasize strict adherence to safety protocols. While this role may involve some lifting, the primary focus is on accuracy and administrative tasks related to inventory management.
