We have an immediate opening for a dependable Material Handler in our Richmond, Virginia facility. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse, supporting our overall logistics operations. Your duties will include receiving incoming goods, verifying shipments against purchase orders, stocking materials in designated areas, and picking items for outbound orders. You will operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment as needed to facilitate material movement. A strong commitment to safety is essential. You must adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing. Expect to handle items of various weights, with some lifting up to 50 lbs. Training on safe lifting techniques and warehouse safety will be provided. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all processes. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are highly valued. This position is crucial for maintaining the flow of inventory and supporting our logistics network.
