We are looking for a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our thriving logistics operation in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or digital scanners. This involves navigating the warehouse, identifying items, and ensuring the correct quantities are selected. You will also be responsible for verifying the accuracy of picked items, preparing them for packing and shipment, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Proper use of equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks is expected. Lifting requirements will be frequent, so physical fitness is essential. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety protocols. This position is critical to our supply chain and requires an individual who is motivated, accurate, and possesses excellent stamina. Success in this role contributes directly to customer satisfaction and the overall efficiency of our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to identify and retrieve items.
- Verify picked items for accuracy and quantity.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Proven experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role preferred. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds consistently. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with RF scanning technology. Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing PPE. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
