Job Summary:
Our logistics company in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist. This role is fundamental to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. You will be responsible for overseeing all inventory-related activities, including conducting cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and managing stock levels to optimize efficiency. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is crucial. Your commitment to Safety, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety regulations, is paramount. This position requires analytical thinking and a proactive approach to managing our valuable inventory assets.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using our WMS.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to minimize errors and losses.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and improve turnover.
  • Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operational teams to ensure seamless inventory flow.
  • Conduct audits of inventory storage locations for accuracy and organization.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
  • Solid understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to upholding Safety standards and wearing appropriate PPE.
