Join our thriving logistics center in Kansas City, Missouri, as a Fulfillment Associate. This role is fundamental to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be involved in various aspects of the fulfillment process, including picking, packing, sorting, and preparing orders for shipment. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality are essential. Working in a busy warehouse requires a proactive approach to tasks and a strong understanding of safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to perform tasks involving lifting and movement is a key requirement. As a Fulfillment Associate, you play a direct role in the satisfaction of our clients and the smooth operation of our supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse inventory.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Conduct quality control checks on picked and packed orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including consistent use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock verification.
- Meet or exceed established productivity targets.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a fulfillment or warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 45 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and logistics operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
