Our Chicago, Illinois facility is seeking reliable Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient picking of products and the careful packing of customer orders for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our distribution center. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment and require all team members to use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere strictly to all safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order lists.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and quality to ensure order accuracy.
- Package products securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels correctly and ensure packages are ready for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, following all housekeeping standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, prioritizing safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Meet daily productivity goals for picking and packing while maintaining high accuracy.
- Assist with inventory tasks, such as cycle counts, as directed.
- Support other warehouse functions and logistics activities as needed.
