We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Kansas City, Missouri! As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our facility, directly supporting our logistics network. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will collaborate with colleagues to meet daily operational targets and contribute to overall team success. We emphasize safety, efficiency, and teamwork in all our endeavors.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer requirements.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Follow proper lifting techniques to avoid strain or injury.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts is beneficial.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear necessary PPE.
