We are seeking a reliable and efficient Shipping & Receiving Associate for our bustling logistics facility in New York City, New York. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse. Duties include unloading incoming shipments, verifying packing slips against orders, inspecting for damage, and preparing outgoing shipments. Accurate record-keeping and adherence to established logistics procedures are crucial. You will work closely with carriers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, bending, and the ability to handle lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Maintaining a safe and clean workspace is paramount, and the mandatory use of appropriate PPE is required at all times. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
