We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving the handling of various types of goods. Your duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We prioritize a safe working environment, and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE , is expected. This role is a key component of our logistics operations, contributing to timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and a team player. This role involves significant physical demands, including standing, walking, and regular lifting .
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming stock.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring correct use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics department.
- Load and unload trucks as directed.
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial. Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. Commitment to workplace safety and the mandatory use of PPE is essential.
