We are hiring an Order Picker for our Cincinnati, Ohio distribution center! This crucial role ensures that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets. Success in this position requires speed, accuracy, and a keen attention to detail. You will be a key part of our logistics team, contributing to the timely dispatch of orders. Responsibilities include navigating the warehouse, identifying correct products, verifying quantities, and preparing items for the packing station. This is a physically active role, involving significant walking and standing, as well as the requirement for consistent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs. We maintain a strong focus on Safety; therefore, adherence to all company Safety guidelines and the mandatory use of PPE is essential. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order pick lists accurately.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in picking operations.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Communicate any picking discrepancies or issues to supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Experience with Lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Commitment to following Safety protocols and using PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
