We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our busy warehouse in Raleigh, NC! In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your main duties will involve accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and then carefully packaging these items for shipment. This position is physically active and requires attention to detail to minimize errors. You'll be working within a team-oriented environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Key responsibilities include: locating and retrieving specified products, verifying item accuracy, preparing items for shipment (boxing, labeling), and maintaining an organized and clean work area. We value individuals who are reliable, efficient, and committed to quality. The role involves significant manual work, including the need for consistent Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Read order sheets to identify correct items for picking.
- Locate and retrieve items from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and surrounding areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and teamwork.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Experience with Lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and instructions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
- Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics principles is a plus.
