Stroud KO2's client, a fast-growing and innovative technology company in Stroud, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in the development of advanced, next-generation, electronic products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team working across the full product lifecycle in a dynamic, high-growth environment. The successful candidate will be required to go through SC Clearance, if you hold it already that is a bonus. The Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will take ownership of mechanical design activities from initial concept through to production handover. You'll work closely with electronics, software, and manufacturing engineers to develop robust, high-performance devices suited to real-world applications, with a strong focus on efficiency, size, and weight constraints. Key Responsibilities Lead conceptual design activities, generating innovative mechanical solutions Define device specifications in collaboration with cross-functional teams Deliver detailed design using CAD, including assemblies and technical drawings Develop, build, and test prototype units, iterating designs based on performance and feedback Support design for manufacture (DFM) and transition to production, including supplier engagement Ensure designs...
