ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for sourcing, developing and the account management of the Corporate Group and MICE business from designated market sectors and geographic territories. Market segments include but are not limited to UK Conference agents, UK Venue finders, UK Based Sports Groups, UK Charities, Association, Think Tanks and UK based automotive companies, Conference Venues. The Senior Sales Manager must maximise yield in alignment with the sales department's strategic goals and Corinthia Hotel London objectives and is responsible for the Sales Strategy for this segment working in conjunction with the Head of MICE Sales. Geographic territories for the Corporate Group and MICE Sector including all of the UK and Asia (excluding China). The Senior Sales Manager works closely with the Corinthia Hotels UK GSO Teamworking in conjunction with to manage and develop accounts in the UK territory. ABOUT YOU Ideally 3-5 years working in the Luxury Hotel Segment with a strong commercial understanding of Corporate Group and MICE business. Strong communication and interpersonal skills A strong desire to learn and develop a career within luxury hospitality Excellent level of written and spoken English Empathy and care for your guests and colleagues Ability to work under pressure and respond in an appropriate time to client requests. Ability to change and adapt strategy and activity depending on business needs. Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment Pride and attention to detail in your work Takes pride in own professional grooming Professional and engaging personality Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests Ability to travel extensively in the UK, North America, South American and Globally as required for Trade shows. Full clean driving license.
