Participate in system and application architecture and design discussions.
Own features throughout the complete software development lifecycle, from design to production support.
Translate business and product requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code that aligns with established engineering standards.
Engage in code and design reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through collaboration and leading by example.
Identify and resolve issues related to performance, reliability, security, and maintainability within your areas of ownership.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
7-8+ years of professional software development experience in an agile environment.
Strong experience in building cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, utilizing managed services.
Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and distributed system fundamentals.
Proven track record in delivering customer-facing applications or services.
Full-stack:
Applied development experience, with: Java for backend services and APIs.
Angular for modern web front ends.
PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
AI/ML:
Applied development experience in building or integrating capabilities into production systems, such as: Consuming predictive or analytical models.
Integrating generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, RAG, prompt workflows).
Implementing AI-powered features within existing applications.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications) Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
10+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience with distributed systems at moderate scale.
Familiarity with cloud observability and monitoring tools, security best practices for cloud applications, and CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
Experience mentoring engineers or acting as a technical lead for features or projects.
This position may be eligible for relocation benefits. Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is: $160,400 - $227,100. Actual base compensation within this range will vary based on relevant factors.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual results.
