Job description:
*Physical Therapy Injury Clinics is a new, fast-growing outpatient clinic focused on the overall wellness and recovery of our patients. Through evidence-based clinical practice we guide patients through their personal injury using a whole health approach. PTIC is dedicated to meeting our mission of assisting patients in their return to a pain free life.*
*About the Position: *This is a Physical Therapist position with PTIC located in Raleigh/Durham, NC - this is a multi-clinic role, Monday-Friday.
Duties:
The Physical Therapist is an independent practice professional responsible for evaluating and treating patients using a full range of treatment procedures and modalities. These treatment plans are designed to restore patients to the highest possible functional level.
Clinical:
1. Independently evaluates patients using practical knowledge of physical therapy skills and evidence-based practice.
2. Independently interprets the results of tests and measurements of the patient's condition to develop and modify the treatment plan, and evaluate the results of treatment.
3. Establishes short term and long term Physical Therapy treatment goals.
4. Monitors patient's emergency medical needs; intolerance to treatment; changes in patient's physical/mental status; and takes appropriate action as necessary.
5. Maintains current knowledge and understanding of all patient care Physical Therapy treatment equipment in the clinic, it's use and contraindications.
6. Recognizes diversity among patients/staff and demonstrates sensitivity to cultural, age, gender, and people with disabilities and provide appropriate care/support.
7. Utilizes appropriate physical therapy modalities by the use of exercise, massage, heat or cold, electricity or sound for the purpose treating any physical condition.
Administrative:
1. Identifies and corrects, if possible, any safety hazards and reports equipment malfunctions.
2. Maintains knowledge of and acts within physical therapy scope of practice and the current policies and procedures of the clinic.
3. Maintains effective communication with patients, families and other professionals to enhance patient care.
4. Manages effective use of time/schedules for Physical Therapy.
5. Documentation to support ICD-10 and CPT codes utilized to capture workload and for billing purposes.
*Work Schedule*:
*Full Time: *40 hours a week M-F, no weekends
*Pay: *Base Salary: $70k-95k.
*Bonus Incentives:* An average of $25k per year based on clinic performance.
*Basic Requirements*:
* You must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a U.S. Green Card to apply for this job.
* You may be required to serve a probationary period.
* English Language Proficiency.
* Education: The individual must meet at least one of the requirements below:
(1) Master's degree in Physical Therapy AND two (2) years of progressively independent experience as a Physical Therapist.
(2) Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
* Licensure. Individuals hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in a North Carolina.
*Preferred Experience:* PTIC is seeking the best qualified Physical Therapist with preferred experience in the following areas:

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
