A fast-growing U.S. consumer products company is hiring a
Senior Analytics Engineer
to help build and scale a modern data platform supporting ecommerce, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing analytics. This business operates a highly automated domestic manufacturing operation alongside a strong direct-to-consumer ecommerce model, generating more than $120M in annual revenue and continuing to scale rapidly. They are investing heavily in data infrastructure and AI-enabled decision making across the organization. This role will be one of the foundational hires in the data function and will play a key role in designing the company’s next generation analytics architecture. The Role You will work closely with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to build and scale the company’s analytics platform. This role sits between data engineering and analytics and will focus on centralizing data pipelines and improving data accessibility across the organization. Key initiatives include: • Migrating the analytics stack to BigQuery and Looker • Building scalable transformation models using DBT • Expanding and optimizing Airbyte and Python based ETL pipelines • Designing reliable datasets that support analytics and AI use cases • Creating dashboards that support supply chain, marketing, forecasting, and ecommerce operations • Establishing scalable data architecture and governance standards Tech Stack • SQL • DBT • BigQuery • Looker • Airbyte • Python • Postgres • Hex Requirements • 4+ years of experience working with SQL • 4+ years of experience using DBT • Experience building analytics data models and dashboards • Experience working with data warehouses and ETL pipelines • Strong hands-on technical problem solving ability Nice to Have • Experience with BigQuery or Looker • Python experience • Shopify or ecommerce analytics experience • Manufacturing or supply chain data experience • Experience working in high growth or product driven environments Ideal Candidate The team is looking for someone who is: • Curious and evidence driven • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment where the data function is still evolving • Able to work independently and solve problems without heavy oversight • Strong at communicating insights with business stakeholders • Interested in modern data tooling and AI enabled analytics Location • Indianapolis, IN • Hybrid working model with 2–3 days per week in office The company is building a new technology hub in the northern suburbs of Indianapolis while operating a highly automated manufacturing facility within the state. xywuqvp Why This Role • Opportunity to help build a modern data platform from the ground up • Exposure to ecommerce, manufacturing, and operational analytics • High ownership role within a growing data team • Opportunity to influence architecture and data standards early in the company’s growth If you are interested in learning more, please apply or reach out directly.
