As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our Petcare SaaS platforms. This is a hands-on position focused on building and maintaining automated and manual testing while also contributing to QA strategy, mentoring team members, and helping evolve our overall quality practices.
This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, quality-driven, and eager to grow into a QA leadership position by leading through hands-on contribution and collaboration.
What You'll Do:
Design, build, and maintain manual and automated test coverage across Petcare applications
Perform hands-on automation testing for web workflows and APIs
Ensure quality across functional, regression, integration, and release testing
Identify, document, and track defects with clear analysis and impact
Partner with Engineering and Product to understand requirements, risks, and release readiness
Advocate for quality-first practices and continuously improve testing processes
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation standards and QA best practices
Support production releases, UAT, and overall test strategy as the team scales
What You'll Bring:
Strong hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer
Experience with automation tools such as
TestRigor and Postman
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing principles, and SDLC
Experience testing complex SaaS applications and workflows
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to mentor others and influence quality practices across teams
Nice to Have:
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Familiarity with data-driven applications or complex workflow systems
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams
Prior experience taking ownership of QA initiatives or informal leadership roles
