Technical Skills (Hard Skills): • Programming: 8+ years of experience designing and developing software applications in Java. • Cloud (AWS): Minimum 3 years of experience developing in AWS including: o Cloud Formation Templates o Deploying ECS Clusters, Lambda, Fargate o Amazon Elastic Search, S3 o Strong understanding of IAM roles and policies • Databases: Experience developing with both relational (MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis). • Architecture: Experience with application architectural patterns such as MVC, Microservices, and Event-driven design. • DevOps/CI/CD: Experience deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps. • APIs: Experience designing well-defined RESTful APIs and hands-on experience with tools like Swagger and Postman. • Computer Science: Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Key Responsibilities: • Work as part of an Agile team and participate in all Scrum activities (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Grooming, Retro, Demo). • Design, code, test, and debug programs of high complexity. • Configure or customize purchased software solutions with high complexity. • Provide project management, programming, and systems administration leadership, guidance, and assistance to other team members. • Work on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support calls. • Develop major system modules, programs, or infrastructure based on customer requirements. • Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing. • Review and modify existing databases and database management systems. • Direct database development and approve project scope and limitations. • Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information. • Develop standards and guidelines to guide software use and acquisition. • Perform integration tasks for in-house developed systems and purchased solutions.
