Job Description The Business Intelligence Analyst supports the Compliance organization by transforming data into actionable insights, enhancing reporting capabilities, and enabling process improvements through analytics, automation, and AI. This role analyzes business processes, translates requirements into effective BI solutions, and partners closely with Compliance, IT, and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making. The Analyst will play a key role in strengthening compliance operations, improving data quality, modernizing workflows with AI-driven enhancements, and ensuring systems and reports meet organizational and regulatory needs. Key Responsibilities Business & Data Analysis Review, analyze, and evaluate compliance-related business processes, systems, and data requirements. Elicit and document requirements through interviews, process mapping, data discovery sessions, workshops, and user story development. Translate complex business needs into structured analytical requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility. Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, increase data visibility, and improve compliance outcomes. BI, Reporting & AI Integration Design, build, and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and automated reporting solutions within BI tools. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that support compliance risk assessment and operational improvements. Leverage AI capabilities (e.g., natural language processing, predictive analytics, automation tools) to enhance reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and drive advanced analytics. Partner with Data Engineering and IT to improve data quality and ensure reliable, scalable analytics platforms. Project Execution & Stakeholder Partnership Support multiple analytics and system enhancement initiatives simultaneously, ensuring alignment with Compliance priorities. Participate in solution design sessions, feasibility assessments, and implementation planning. Assist with reviewing and validating system changes prior to production deployment. Serve as a key point of contact for troubleshooting BI/reporting issues and coordinating cross-team resolutions. Documentation, Testing & Training Develop clear documentation, including requirements, functional specifications, workflows, data dictionaries, and process improvements. Participate in test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post‑implementation reviews. Prepare and deliver training materials, demos, and user guidance for BI dashboards, reports, and AI-enabled tools. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, business analysis, or a related discipline. Experience creating BI reports, dashboards, and data models. Background in compliance, audit, risk management, or regulated environments is a plus. Technical Skills Proficiency in one or more BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar). Analytical tools like Python or R Ability to write SQL queries and work with relational databases. Understanding of data modeling, visualization best practices, and analytics storytelling. Familiarity with AI concepts such as NLP, predictive analytics, automation, or LLM-powered tools (training can be provided).
