Responsibilities:
Design and manage the network pathways (VPCs, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect) required for high-performance Epic cloud hosting. Provide input on the design and implementation of LAN/WLAN/WAN/MAN solutions to meet evolving business needs. Provision new circuits for internet and site to site connectivity, manage advanced firewall policies and VPN technologies. Resolve complex issues involving routing, switching, and DDI in a multi-tier environment. Resolve and troubleshoot operational issues involving authentication, wireless, routers, switches, DDI, Cloud and VPN in a multi-routing (OSPF, BGP, static) infrastructure. Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring all solutions are documented and scalable. Provision and troubleshoot internet and connectivity to ensure seamless data flow between Quest sites and cloud providers. Train and mentor engineers and IT staff to maintain a high level of technical competency across the team.
Qualifications:
Required: 6+ years of enterprise network engineering experience in regulated environment Expertise in large-scale routing and switching environments. Preferred: 10+ years of experience in a technical network engineering capacity in enterprise routing, switching, firewall, Wireless and Cloud environment. Advanced knowledge of Cloud Networking (Azure/AWS/GCP), Cloud Transit Gateways, express routes, Load Balancing (Cloud Native, F5 and Citrix ADC). Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to multi-task Analytical skills Ability to follow verbal or written instructions, thinking analytically Communication, using effective verbal communication, using effective written communication Handling stress & emotions, concentrating on tasks, making decisions, adjusting to change, Examining/observing details. Ability to design agile and innovative solutions. Travel Required: Domestic travel up to 25% Required Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. Required Technical Training or Professional Licensing: Proficiency in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certificate Authority (CA) management.
Preferred Technical Training or Professional Licensing: CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Security (CCNP Security) Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) certifications Cloud specific networking certifications in Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Advanced Networking English language required. 55579
