About the job

The Packaging team member supports daily shipping operations by securely packaging parts,

preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining organized warehouse and packaging areas.

We're looking for someone who

● Has experience with packing and shipping procedures in a warehouse or manufacturing

environment

● Demonstrates strong attention to detail and can follow customer packaging specifications

exactly

● Has basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

● Is comfortable using basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and

Excel

● Can operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely (certification preferred)

● Is able to operate hand sealers and air pumps when required

● Communicates clearly in both written and verbal form

● Works effectively both independently and as part of a team

● Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

● Is organized, dependable, and committed to quality workmanship

What you'll do

● Package a variety of parts under the direction of a lead or supervisor

● Meet daily shipping deadlines set during production meetings

● Reuse returned or old boxes when available and appropriate

● Securely package parts to prevent movement and damage

● Stack and organize returned or used boxes in designated areas

● Weigh and label packages accurately

● Inspect packages to ensure they are damage-free and compliant with shipping regulations

● Assemble daily orders by shipping location or category

● Maintain packing logs and complete order forms as required

● Seal and label shipping containers properly

● Clean and maintain shipping supplies and work areas

● Follow customer-specific packaging specifications precisely

● Provide backup support to warehouse operations

● Report issues to leads, supervisors, or managers as needed

● Stock and stack boxes for upcoming shipments

● Assist with training new team members when required

Physical requirements

● Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 35lbs

● Must be able to stand for long periods with frequent bending, twisting, and lifting

● Must be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, safety shoes, and ear

protection

● Must be able to work overtime or weekends during peak demand periods

● Must be comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
