Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Oversee stock rotation, ensuring FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles are followed.
- Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
- Optimize warehouse slotting and organization for efficient retrieval.
- Collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment for inventory storage.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including correct PPE usage.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for inventory control.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certification in logistics/supply chain is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar logistics role.
- Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Good organizational and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
