We are hiring Warehouse Workers for our facility in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. You will play a crucial part in our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of inventory and order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely (training available).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, and bending.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- A strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Experience in logistics or distribution is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
