Our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility is looking for skilled Reach Truck Operators to enhance our logistics team. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, stocking, and retrieving inventory within our warehouse. This role requires precision and adherence to strict safety standards to operate specialized equipment. You will ensure that all stored goods are organized, accessible, and handled with care. A keen eye for detail, strong spatial awareness, and a commitment to workplace Safety are essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve palletized goods within the warehouse.
- Safely transport inventory to and from designated storage areas, loading docks, and production lines.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by ensuring proper placement and identification of goods.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from obstructions.
- Assist with inventory control activities, such as cycle counts and stock audits.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment is required.
- Valid forklift operator certification is essential.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics setting.
