Job Summary:
Join our expanding logistics operations as a Material Handler in Houston, Texas. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our warehouse, involving the movement, storage, and organization of materials and finished goods. You will operate various material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts, to ensure inventory is stored correctly and orders are staged efficiently for shipment. A commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment are key. You will be involved in receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking orders, and preparing shipments. Strong physical stamina and a proactive attitude are necessary.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming materials and verify shipment contents against purchase orders.
  • Store materials in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
  • Pick and stage materials for production or shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and storage.
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
  • Support the overall logistics flow of the warehouse.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Proficiency in operating manual and powered material handling equipment.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
  • Must comply with all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
