We are looking for diligent individuals who can accurately and efficiently retrieve products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that the right items get to the right place at the right time. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanner data.
- Verify product accuracy and quantity against order requirements.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during the picking process.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain accurate records of picked items.
- Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety regulations and the use of appropriate PPE.
- Operate electric pallet jacks or order pickers as required, following strict Safety protocols.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking procedures.
- Perform regular physical tasks, including substantial Lifting of boxes and items, and prolonged standing.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and workflow of the logistics department.
- Keep picking areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Understand and follow all company guidelines for warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform continuous Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and hazard awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Must be reliable and have a flexible schedule if needed.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
