We are seeking a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. We value precision, speed, and a strong commitment to Safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves and locations based on pick lists or RF scanner data.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked orders in the designated area for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles and pick locations are clear.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely to transport goods.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and speed of order fulfillment within our logistics operations.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all instructions carefully to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant manual dexterity and physical activity, including Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards.
- Good organizational skills and time management.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
