In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of goods. Responsibilities will range from handling incoming shipments to preparing orders for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Perform inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the logistics supply chain.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring operational excellence.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and practices.
- Willingness to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
- Good communication skills.
