Join our growing team as a Distribution Center Associate in San Antonio, Texas! We are looking for motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art distribution facility. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. We value a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety.
Responsibilities:
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (certification may be required or provided).
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Organize and retrieve stock in the warehouse.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to Safety protocols and the correct use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics department.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Willingness to learn and operate various types of warehouse machinery.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is beneficial.
