Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from various locations within the warehouse using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and accuracy in picking activities.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow within the logistics process.
- Operate order picking equipment safely, as trained.
- This role involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and follow instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and productively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including extended periods of standing, walking, and frequent Lifting.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics is beneficial.
