We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in the vibrant setting of New York City, New York. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary duties will involve locating items in the warehouse, picking them according to order sheets, and then carefully packing them for shipment. This position demands speed, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment and adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team is crucial for success. We pride ourselves on providing a positive and supportive work atmosphere. Responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verifying product codes and quantities.
- Packing items securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing orders for dispatch.
- Maintaining organized workstations and ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Meeting picking and packing speed and accuracy targets.
- Assisting with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
