We have an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Clerk to join our bustling logistics operations. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing and documenting shipments, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring all outgoing orders are accurately processed and dispatched. This role is vital to our supply chain, guaranteeing that our products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition. You will work closely with the warehouse team to streamline shipping processes and maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are paramount. This position requires adherence to strict safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times within the warehouse environment. The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure is key. We are committed to fostering a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing shipping documents, including bills of lading and manifests.
- Verifying order details against shipping labels.
- Coordinating pickup schedules with various shipping carriers.
- Inspecting packages for damage and proper sealing.
- Maintaining accurate shipping records and updating the system.
- Communicating with customers and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Assisting with inventory counts as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
