You will be involved in a range of essential warehouse activities, including receiving and processing incoming stock, accurately picking and packing orders, preparing shipments for dispatch, and ensuring the overall tidiness and safety of the warehouse. A strong commitment to safety is non-negotiable; all employees must strictly follow company safety policies, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming merchandise.
- Sort and put away stock in its designated area.
- Pick items accurately according to order specifications.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Assemble and prepare outgoing shipments.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use PPE as required.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and PPE.
