Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to specific instructions.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely to move materials.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counting.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Assist in preparing shipping documentation and ensuring accurate labeling.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Understand and follow company guidelines for product handling and storage.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
- Understand the importance of efficient logistics in the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Physical stamina and the ability to handle frequent Lifting and bending.
- Proficiency in operating basic warehouse machinery.
- A strong commitment to workplace Safety and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are crucial.
