Job Summary:
Join our team as a Picker/Packer in Columbus, Ohio, and play a key role in our fulfillment operations. This position is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately locating, retrieving, and consolidating items to fulfill customer orders. This involves using scanning technology and following order sheets with precision. Once items are picked, you will meticulously pack them into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring they are well-protected for transit. A keen eye for detail is critical to minimize errors and maintain high customer satisfaction. You will work within a dynamic warehouse environment, where efficiency and accuracy are paramount. We are committed to providing a safe working environment for all employees. This includes providing necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring all team members are trained on proper safety procedures. The role demands physical stamina, as it involves significant standing, walking, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Experience in a logistics setting is beneficial but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
  • Inspect picked items for damages or defects.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping boxes or containers.
  • Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and use required PPE.
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory counts as needed.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations is an advantage.
