You will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, playing a vital part in our logistics operations. Responsibilities include verifying quantities, checking for damages, and properly documenting all received items. A keen eye for detail and organizational skills are essential. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and other conveyances.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect items for any damage or defects.
- Accurately record all received inventory into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label items appropriately for storage.
- Organize received goods for efficient put-away.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Perform tasks that may include some Lifting and manual handling.
- Ensure timely and accurate flow of goods within the logistics system.
- Uphold safety standards consistently.
