We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Dallas, Texas. This leadership role is instrumental in overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to Safety standards. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, coordinate daily tasks, optimize workflow, and ensure the smooth execution of our Logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management, and a proven track record of implementing best practices. We maintain a strong Safety culture, and you will be responsible for enforcing all Safety regulations and ensuring the correct use of PPE by your team. The role involves overseeing operations that include regular Lifting and the operation of material handling equipment, requiring a comprehensive understanding of these demands. Your leadership will drive productivity and foster a positive team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations and staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Ensure accurate and timely order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Enforce all company Safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper PPE usage.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits.
- Oversee the receiving and put-away processes.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless Logistics operations.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Address operational issues and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and Logistics.
- Strong understanding of Safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting and oversee operations involving heavy Lifting.
- Proficiency with WMS and other warehouse management software.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Commitment to fostering a safe work environment and ensuring PPE compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
