We are seeking an experienced Reach Truck Operator to join our warehouse team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is essential for the efficient management of our vertical storage space, enabling us to maximize capacity and streamline operations within our Logistics network. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for maneuvering specialized equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The ideal candidate possesses excellent control over the reach truck, a keen awareness of surroundings, and a strong commitment to Safety. We provide a secure working environment, complete with all necessary training and PPE. This position requires proficiency in operating a reach truck, alongside the ability to handle tasks involving moderate Lifting. Your role will directly impact our throughput and accuracy, contributing significantly to our supply chain success.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve products efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers using the reach truck.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of the reach truck and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Support the Logistics team in maintaining optimal warehouse flow.
- Identify and report any damages to products or equipment.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid certification or license for operating reach trucks.
- Demonstrated ability to control equipment in tight spaces.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting and pallet handling.
- Understanding of Logistics operations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Commitment to adhering to PPE requirements.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
