Are you skilled in maintaining and troubleshooting warehouse equipment? Our Fort Worth, Texas facility is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of our warehouse machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics network. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and implementing solutions swiftly. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety regulations and maintain equipment in a safe working condition. You will work closely with the operations team to support their needs and ensure equipment readiness. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual to excel in a vital support role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and ensure compliance with all Safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Order and manage spare parts inventory.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, utilizing proper PPE and procedures.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams.
- May involve some Lifting of parts or equipment.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and Safety.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Understanding of Safety procedures in a warehouse environment. Ability to perform moderate Lifting. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
