Become a vital part of our fulfillment process as a Picker/Packer in Columbus, Ohio! We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact customer satisfaction. You will utilize scanning devices and follow picking lists to locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves. Once picked, you will ensure items are packed securely and correctly, minimizing damage during transit. This position requires a strong emphasis on Safety, organization, and the ability to work at a steady pace. You will be a key contributor to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and on time. We offer a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Be prepared for tasks involving moderate Lifting.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
Previous picking and packing experience is a plus. Ability to read and interpret order details. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform occasional moderate Lifting. Strong attention to detail. Commitment to Safety and workplace best practices.
