Our Huntsville, Alabama facility is seeking an efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. You will use scanning equipment and follow pick lists to ensure order accuracy and efficiency. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines are essential. This position plays a key part in our overall fulfillment process, ensuring our customers receive the correct products.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications and pick lists.
- Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory.
- Ensure picked items are in good condition and prepare them for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Meet or exceed daily picking quotas while maintaining accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors.
- Understand and follow warehouse Logistics procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and occasional Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse scanning equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Dedication to workplace Safety .
