Job Summary:
We are hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for our large distribution center in Los Angeles, California. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory accuracy and control within the warehouse. This includes conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring that inventory data is precise in our system. You will work closely with the warehouse management team and other departments to optimize inventory processes and minimize loss. A strong understanding of inventory management principles, attention to detail, and analytical skills are essential. This position is key to maintaining efficient logistics operations and meeting customer demands. We require strict adherence to safety regulations and the consistent use of PPE. This role may involve some lifting of inventory items. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

  • Ensure accuracy of inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Collaborate with operations teams to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting.
  • Understanding of warehouse and logistics operations.
