This role is integral to our e-commerce operations, focusing on accurately and efficiently preparing customer orders for shipment. You will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves, packing them securely, and ensuring they are ready for dispatch. This is a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed are key. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on customer orders.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Utilize scanners and warehouse management systems to track orders and inventory.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding PPE and workplace conduct.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in order fulfillment, picking, or packing is a plus. Must be comfortable with frequent Lifting of items up to 35 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Must follow all Safety protocols. Experience with warehouse automation is beneficial.
